Delivery to the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB)

Kockum Sonics has successfully completed its latest delivery to the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).

For many years, we have had the privilege of supplying the Tyfon warning siren to MSB. This year, we are proud to contribute to the ongoing nationwide project to modernize, replace and expand Sweden’s national warning system with another 2,100 Tyfon sirens across Sweden. This first delivery marks an important milestone in the program, and we look forward to continuing our contribution in strengthening public safety.

The Swedish national warning system, commonly known as Hesa Fredrik (the Public Warning Signal), is a vital part of Sweden’s emergency preparedness. Consisting of sirens positioned throughout the country, the system provides essential alerts to the public during serious incidents, such as gas leaks or fires involving hazardous smoke.
